Delivery Options


Your order will be delivered to your home or a designated location.

If you would prefer your order to be delivered to a different address (workplace, accommodation, etc.) other than your home address, please register that address as the shipping address.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number to the email address you registered with. You can use this number to check the status of your delivery at any time.

The shipping costs below include the cost of the insulated bag and ice packs. For details, please see here.

We will deliver your order directly to your home (or designated location*).

*If you would like your order delivered to a specific address, please register that address as the delivery destination. However, the address must be within the eligible area.

Once your order is complete, we will email you with our proposed delivery date and time.

If you are unable to receive your package on the scheduled date and time, please let us know as soon as possible.

Please note that depending on delivery volumes, we may suggest an alternative delivery date.

Delivery Area

Currently, this option is only available in the following areas.

  • South Limburg, Netherlands
  • Düsseldorf area (Düsseldorf, Meersbusch, Ratingen), Germany

If your delivery address is within the eligible area but the delivery option is not displayed, please contact us.

Pickup

Your order can be picked up at the meeting point. Currently, the only meeting point is Netto in Lörick, Düsseldorf.

Another option is to pick up your order at markets/events where we have a stall.
We announce you about the schedules of the markets and events on our homepage or social media every month. Please check these regularly.

To maintain the quality of the goods, we ship them in a cooler bag with coolant in a cardboard box. After trying out a few products on the market, we found this to be the most effective and environmentally friendly way of keeping your ordered items cool and safe. Made from 100% renewable and biodegradable materials, this cooler bag is an environmentally-friendly choice.

During hot weather in particular, the cooling effect of our packages may fade, possibly causing the products to begin fermenting or maturing again during shipping.
For example, as the temperature rises and fermentation progresses, gas may be produced and a liquid called tamari may leak from the bag (neither of which is harmful).

As our products are not pasteurised, the bacteria remain alive. While they do not spoil immediately at room temperature, fermentation does occur gradually. Therefore, we temporarily halt fermentation by refrigerating or freezing the products before shipping them.

For this reason, we aim to deliver your order as quickly as possible, we ship orders at the beginning of the week. (This means that most orders will be shipped the following week.)

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number to the email address you registered with. You can use this number to check the status of your delivery at any time.

Please be aware when placing your order!
We do our best to make sure that products are not damaged in transit, but we cannot be held responsible for any deterioration in the condition of the goods if there is a delay in delivery or if you are unable to receive the goods immediately for any reason. During busy times of year, such as Easter or Christmas, delivery may take longer than usual.

Some products, such as natto, are frozen in advance and dispatched in insulated bags with ice packs; however, depending on the delivery time, they may arrive partially or fully thawed.

But there is no need to worry.
Freezing simply serves to temporarily halt the maturation process that would otherwise continue at room temperature. Please rest assured that thawing does not cause the products to deteriorate immediately. Most of them will simply resume maturing gradually. If you wish to halt this process again, please freeze the product once more after receiving it. Then, simply thaw it again whenever you like and enjoy!
